Use Automatic Software Update files to deliver product enhancements, and bug fixes to product users worldwide.

You can configure, and build localizable software update delivery messages, that can be distributed to specified language locales, or all software product users, define and configure files to be added or updated in your software, and change Automatic Software Update file download URLs. Automatic software update messages use UTF-16 character encoding.

All Automatic Software Update files support Java Code Signing. Digitally Signing EvaluateAnywhere™ Automatic Software Update files with a Sun Java Signing Digital ID will prevent outside parties from tampering with your code without your knowledge, and protect your customers against the risks that go with software downloads by authenticating the source and integrity of your downloadable content.
